Welcome to Y1's Class Page!
Thank you for taking the time to look through our page- here you will find all of the information you will need.
Miss Teague and Mrs Hillman work in Y1 with the fantastic children!
PE days are Wednesday and Thursday (please ensure their PE kit is in school on these days) We also complete the Daily Mile every day on our brand new running track. This track allows the children to stay safe, clean and dry from the muddy grass when completing their daily mile therefore they will be fine running in their school shoes.
Children must bring in their reading folder every day please. Reading books go out on a Monday. Please read with your child for at least 10 minutes a day and record in their diary what they have read.
Homework goes out on a Friday and must be returned the following Wednesday. Our spelling test will be every Friday. During the Spring Term,we shall also be asking the children to practice their number work by counting in 1's 2's 5's or 10's and will be testing them on this every Friday alongside their spellings. More information will follow...
We have just finished our topic for Autumn 2- Fire! Fire! We looking forward to starting a brand new topic in Spring 1. Watch this space for what it is all about.
