Frog Invasion of Lordsgate School
On Monday 18th November Lordsgate was invaded by frogs and lily pads. The children were greeted on Monday morning with a school that was covered in lily pads, pond slime and clothes from washing lines, but how did they get there? From Reception to Year 6, the children spent the week investigating and trying to get to the bottom of the unusual incident. All of the children had a fantastic week developing their vocabulary and producing some excellent writing such as Stories, reports and recounts. They have also produced art work and sculptures, investigated the life cycle and habitats of frogs, learned songs, enjoyed frog-themed food and helped the Police with setting up perimeters around the affected areas.
