The strong Christian ethos nurtures children’s spirituality, character and personality.  We expect children to demonstrate our Christian Values in all they do.  Our core Christian Values are Faith, Love, Peace, Trust, Friendship, Respect and Forgiveness.  These values underpin all we do in school and as a result the school is a friendly, happy and caring community where everyone supports each other. We use the values in our termly worship themes and they are the basis for various prayer walks and activity days 

There is an outstanding team spirit where every member of the school community matters and has a contribution to make.   Members of St John’s Church community visit the school regularly and likewise the children visit the Church for regular services and religious education.

The Christian ethos of the school also ensures personal, social, moral and spiritual education is of high quality and stimulates in our children a sense of curiosity and excitement about the world encouraging them to search for truth, meaning and purpose of life.
