PTFA
Welcome to the
Page!
Dear Parents and Carers, Teachers and Friends,
On Monday 19th April at 7pm the PTFA will hold our annual AGM – via Zoom.
This is a great opportunity to find out how we spent the money you helped to raise across 2020/21, what plans we have for 2021/22 and how you can help influence what the PTFA does.
The AGM is open to EVERYONE not just PTFA members and you are all encouraged to attend. (In fact we HAVE to have a good number of non-committee members to meet legal requirements)
You can vote for committee positions, you can volunteer yourself, you can share your ideas or you can just listen in.
During the meeting, we will elect the key committee positions:
Chair
Vice Chair (currently 2 co vice-chairs)
Treasurer
Secretary
Social media co-ordinator
If anyone has an interest in standing for any of these roles or have anything you wish to add to the agenda please email ptfa@lordsgate.lancs.sch.uk by Friday 16th April.
Class Representatives
We hope to nominate year group representatives; one person from each class to help with event promotion, ticket sales and fundraising and to help maintain a WhatsApp group.
You will also be able to volunteer to be a committee member without a designated role.
We’d like you to field ideas and suggestions, especially if there is something you would like to take the lead on.
We always welcome new ideas and faces.
The PTFA can’t exist without your help.
Free Raffle: At the end of the AGM we will draw a raffle for a bottle of pink gin. All meeting attendees will be in the draw.
Please email ptfa@lordsgate.lancs.sch.uk for the zoom access details.
We hope to see you there,
The PTFA committee
