On Tuesday 6th May Y4 visited PGL at Winmarleigh Hall. Within 20 minutes of arriving we were out and about around the site being Eco Explorers looking for the birds, beasts and insects of Winmarleigh.  After a great lunch where everyone ate really well, we had one of the children's favourite activities so far  - The climbing wall with many children making it to the top of the tower!!  It was then time to use our brains not our brawn with a range of problem solving activities within the park.  After tea we took part in the Balloon Splash Challenge where children competed in wacky events like the shoe stacking challenge to earn gold to pay for protective items for their water balloon, which were then thrown off the top of the tower to put them to the test!  Just before bedtime on day one the children were treated to a hot chocolate - What a day!!
