Lordsgate Passport

At Lordsgate, we believe it is important to provide activities that will enhance our pupils journey through Lordsgate. Below you will find some of the activities that the children will enjoy during their time in Year 3.

VISIT AND BORROW A BOOK FROM THE LIBRARY

Year 3 have completed their first passport activity. We had a wonderful morning at Burscough Library. We learned how books are stored and organised so that they are easy to find. We also played some library games. We even got to join the library and borrow a book for ourselves Check out what we got up to below:

Learn to Sew

We have enjoyed learning how to do a running stitch and a cross stitch to make some wonderful designs.

Visit a Museum

On the 15th July, year 3 went on a trip to Ribchester Roman Museum where we got to handle artefacts and try on Roman armour. We also got to visit 2 separate excavated Roman sites a bath house and a granary. We enjoyed having our lunch on the river bank.
