Antibullying week—10th—14th November
Last week was anti-bullying week, a national week organised by the anti-bullying alliance. This years’ theme was ‘Power for Good’. We introduced the theme in worship time on Monday and continued to discuss and focus on this theme during PSHE sessions in classes. During the week children wore ‘odd socks’ to help them remember the message that we are all special and unique and should not be teased for being different. Year 6 organised a series of fun anti-bullying activities for the other classes to join in with on Friday 14th November. Activities included ’What is your superpower cloak, drawing superheroes with special qualities, good thoughts jars, antibullying game, bullying role plays and badge making.
On Monday 17th November the classes shared in worship what they had been focussing on during Antibullying week.
