On Friday 17th October our ‘Earth Warriors’ were invited to attend a tree planting session with Burscough Town Council at a new site earmarked to be a small nature reserve on Back Moss Lane.  The children were given a short talk about the tress they were planting and once they had been shown how to ‘plant a tree’ were set off to cover  a small area just for our school.  Members of the council and the local authority were very impressed with the children’s knowledge and enthusiasm and we look forward to revisting the site to see the fruits of our labours.  The site is not yet open to the public but we look forward to letting you know when it is and organising another visit for the children.  Well done to Ray, Georgie, Edie, Tiffany, Charlie W, Isobelle, Charlotte.
