• Choir at Tesco and Burscough Manor Care Home

  Bringing the Christmas cheer this week to members of our Burscough community, was our amazing school choir who have performed Carol Singing in Tesco’s on Friday 5th December and at Burscough Manor Care home on Friday 12th December.  The choir performed Christmas classics like Away in a Manger, modern songs like ‘All I want for Christmas’ and ‘Sparkle and Shine’ as well as some wonderful modern Carols such as ‘Song for the King’ and ‘One Night one Moment’.  .A special thank you to Mrs Donohue and Mrs Short for organising and supporting the choir at these events.  

   

  

• School Games Mark Gold Award

  Lordsgate enter a range of competitive and non-competitive sports competitions for a range of age groups.  We have previously informed you that for the year 2024—2025 this gained us the School Games Gold Mark Award.  On Thursday 20th November Mr Tilley who does much of the organisation of these events, accompanied Annabelle and Cody to collect the award on our behalf.  They were presented with the award by Harry Coppell a local GB Pole Vault athlete.  Also for the second year running we achieved the Equal Access award to football for girls.
