During Antibullying week Y6 put together an antibullying workshop. Groups created eight different activities including; fortune tellers, bullying bingo, bullying scenario dramas and ‘snakes and ladders’ game. Remembrance Day 2022
Mon 14 Nov 2022Each year we like to commemorate our local links with the Ringtail Airfield by attending the Ringtail Memorial Service held on the 11th November each year. This year James and Kacie represented the school by laying a wreath at the memorial and taking part in the service. This year we were also invited by the local council to the Burscough and District War memorial service of Remembrance held on Sunday 13th November. This was the first time we had been invited to attend and it was lovely to be part of this community event alongside the other local youth organisation such as Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, Scouts etc which many of our children attend. A special mention to Rhys and Millie in Y6 who represented the school by reading out names from the “Roll of Honour”: the fallen whose names are inscribed on the memorial. We were very proud of their contribution to the service speaking clearly and with confidence.
